thought on love: It is Valentine’s Day. On this day we celebrate love in all shapes and forms: love towards family members, friends, colleagues, and children. We celebrate our love of life and show that we are determined to triumph over hardship.
I found no better way to demonstrate my love for children than to volunteer with UNICEF at Zaatari camp.
I teach English to children between the ages of 9 and 12 online. I also teach young women computer skills.
We provide after school care for children. Our after school activities focus on developing their computer, music and science skills. We hope that by providing this kind of support we are giving them the necessary tools to become more qualified members of their communities.
I also love my work. Working with my team is driven by respect, cooperation, and compassion. I acquired valuable skills and experiences during my work. This is the ultimate reward.
I volunteer because I LOVE CHILDREN.
I volunteer because I LOVE MY COLLEAGUES.
Giving my time to others is an act of love that lasts more than one day. I celebrate it 365 times each year.
I volunteer because I LOVE CHILDREN.
I volunteer because I LOVE MY COLLEAGUES.
I acquired valuable skills and experiences during my work.
The love I gave paid me back in the same currency.
This is the festival of love that I cherish.
