Syrian, from Daraa/Syria; seeking Undergraduate degree in Pharmacy and is enrolled at Zarqa University.
In the heart of Syria's upheaval, I began my journey —a tale of resilience and unwavering determination.
Displaced by war, I found solace in education, driven by an unyielding desire to make a difference.
I am Ali Al Khalaf, from Daraa. I moved to Jordan with my family of six.
Witnessing my mother's battle with cancer ignited an unquenchable fire within me, propelling me to pursue the secrets of rare illnesses.
As a refugee, I couldn't but choose pharmacy as a major, to make a difference in the lives of my campmates.
Today, in my fourth year of pharmacy studies, I stand at the forefront of groundbreaking research. My mission? Unraveling the complexities of rare diseases that steal moments and lives from families worldwide.
I am seeking $2400 to pursue a dream where every human lives in good health.
Your support isn't just a donation; it's the key that unlocks my mission. With each contribution, you become a partner in rewriting the story of rare illnesses. Imagine the impact—countless lives transformed, smiles restored, and families reunited—all made possible by your solidarity.
Will you champion hope with me?
Let's usher in a world where rare illnesses no longer dictate our lives.
Why Would Donors Fund You?
Peter Mere Latham (1789-1875) once said, "Poisons and medicines are oftentimes the same substances given with different intents."
I represent the courageous spirit who turns adversity into opportunity and illness into good health.
I will channel empathy into saving patient lives through research and tireless work.
Progress relies on empowering daring minds to manifest ambitious ideas, help me be the change.
How Do You Plan to Payback?
I want to gather enough knowledge to volunteer with the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders, just as my mother is doing now.
I envision to design awareness brochures about the dangers of medications
I will help my community by transferring the skills and experiences I have learned
I will invest myself in research
