Syrian, from Damascus/Syria; seeking Undergraduate degree in Information Technology Engineering and is enrolled at Zarqa University.
In the ever-evolving landscape of business, Harvard Business Review's wisdom rings true: "AI won't replace humans, but humans with AI will replace humans without AI." I'm Bayan Al-Beash from Syria, driven by aspirations that transcend barriers.
As the eldest among my siblings and confronting the challenges of being a Syrian in Jordan, I've excelled academically, achieving an outstanding 82.75% in the scientific stream despite enduring constraints. My father, a refugee, grapples with severe employment limitations.
Yet, I refuse to yield to these challenges. I will find my way out of the box.
Hence, AI is my chosen path.
Through relentless self-study in English and Python programming, I'm poised to explore machine learning.
My goal? To engineer AI-based alert systems revolutionizing disaster response, safeguarding countless lives.
AI can analyze large amounts of data in real time, helping to detect and predict disasters like earthquakes, hurricanes, and wildfires. Drones equipped with AI, for example, can survey affected areas. These technologies can even help in post-disaster recovery efforts.
AI saves lives.
Your support isn't just a contribution; it's a cornerstone for a future where technology serves humanity universally.
Join me in forging this transformative journey.
Why Would Donors Fund You?
To quote UN SG Antonio Guterres: " AI must benefit everyone, including the one-third of humanity who are still offline."
Funding my education will help me to break the digital divide within my community in Zaatari Refugee Camp. Through AI, I can guarantee equality for women and girls, and ensure rebuilding my Homeland after war.
How Do You Plan to Payback?
I will break the digital divide, especially for women and girls.
I will bear the responsibility of helping my siblings complete their studies after I finish my studies.
I will teach community members programming languages and how to use computers.
I will participate in volunteer work with organizations.
