I have been fascinated with computer games since I was a child.
I took web-design courses and inter-design. Even the movies I watched were around this theme.
I spent my time at a neighbor's shop which is where I learned to repair and program laptops. It opened a whole new world to me.
I worked in a Super Market but developed an interest in electrical appliance repair.
I first sat for the literary track worrying not to be able to make it in science. My work experience confirmed to me that this is not where my heart is.
I sat for the baccalaureate again, this time in the scientific track and made it.
I am a freshman, communications engineering at LIU.
I discovered that I suffer from congenital heart disease. I suffer from the enlargement of the heart . My health would be compromised if I exert strenuous physical activity.

I dream of building a youth center that hosts an educational advisory service to help high school students make the right decisions about their college education. It will offer workshops in disciplines relevant to the job market
It will partner with online e-learning platforms improve skills and employability in virtual environments.
How Do You Plan to Payback?
- I can mentor students on the platform who need help with their math kills.
- I will dedicate 8 hours that include attending webinars and platform events.
- I can help with onboarding Communication Engineering students major.
Volunteer Work/Social Capital
Friendship organization: we shared Syrian cultures with the administration of the organization and with foreign people.
I participated in Marathon.
MAPS: I have prepared to learn web-design.
Note: because of my responsibility and my work, I haven't had the chance to volunteer with NGOs.
