I'm thrilled to share my recent accomplishments with you all before the year ends. It has been a journey filled with challenges and triumphs, and I feel incredibly grateful for all that has transpired.
First and foremost, I successfully graduated from the Lebanese University with a major in Biochemistry! Moreover, I've embarked on the exciting new chapter of my Master's degree program.
Furthermore, I'm actively contributing as a volunteer at the American University of Beirut's Pharmacology and Toxicology Lab. I'm particularly proud to be part of a research team investigating the potential link between telomere length in cancer cells and cigarette and waterpipe smoking.
Throughout this journey, your unwavering support and guidance have been invaluable. Edseed truly played a pivotal role in helping me turn my dreams into reality.

Dear Edseed's family,

I am happy to inform you that I graduated from biochemistry with honors, which was a major accomplishment for me. I worked hard throughout my studies and participated in several research projects, presenting my work at conferences. My graduation with honors is a testament to my dedication to my studies and my passion for biochemistry.

I completed food safety training with Caritas, which has given me the skills and knowledge to ensure the safety of food products. This training was important to me because I believe that food safety is essential to public health. I plan to use my skills in food safety in my future career in biotechnology.

I also created a YouTube playlist in biochemistry to help my classmates with difficult concepts in the course. This playlist has been viewed over 1,000 times and has received positive feedback from my classmates. I am proud that I was able to use my knowledge to help others and to give back to my community.

I created a WhatsApp group to help high school students apply for scholarships. This group has helped over 150 students apply for DAFI scholarships at LIU and has received positive feedback from the students. I am proud that I was able to use my skills to help others achieve their educational goals.

I am currently learning how to write a research paper and I am working on my first research paper on a cutting-edge cancer treatment using gene editing. This research is important to me because it has the potential to benefit patients with cancer. I am excited about the potential impact of my research, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this field.

Additionally, I am searching for master's degree scholarships, and I want to apply to a program in biotechnology in the UK. I am excited about the opportunity to study in the UK and to learn from leading experts in the field of biotechnology. I am confident that this experience will prepare me for a successful career in this field.

I am proud of my accomplishments in 2023 and I am excited about the future. I am confident that my hard work and dedication will continue to lead to success in my studies and career. I am passionate about biotechnology, and I am committed to making a difference in the world.

For now, I am applying for the first year master's degree in general biochemistry at the Lebanese University and I dream to continue my second year master's degree in biotechnology and hope to continue in the UK.

Good morning my family.

First of all, I want to apologize for my long absence from you, I missed several meetings that I couldn't attend, and I was not able to inform you about my academic developments at the university at the previous time.

I want to tell you that I am very happy in this university year, first because the lectures were taught in person on the university campus and not online Because of this thing, I was able to make many friends of different nationalities, so I had a German friend, a Lebanese one, an Egyptian one, and another Palestinian one. Also during this semester, there were a large number of students who could not attend lectures at the university because of the distance from their homes and because of the high cost of fuel. That is why I took the initiative and began to record lectures for them, and when I return home, I send them the audio recording and all the notes that the doctors say and all that I write in my notebook. Because of this initiative, I was able to be close to everyone and loved by all classmates. And also, during this semester we had an enzymology course, it was a huge course that contains a lot of information, many students find this subject difficult to understand. Also, I took the decision to teach this subject for my classmates, I created a Whatsaap group and sent the invitation link to them all, and I have been teaching this course to them every weekend via zoom. Today, most of them have become familiar with this course. And, they all thank me for everything I did during this semester.

I am so proud because edseed family taught me to love giving and always take the initiative to extend a helping hand, no matter how simple the help is

This semester was tiring despite its sweetness. We had a long time and there were many laboratories this semester, and there are always extra lectures. I really miss you guys

We finished the first semester at the Lebanese University on Friday 9/3/2023 and now we are preparing for our final exams that will be from 16/3/2023 to 27/3/2023.

I can not wait to finish the next semester and graduate from biochemistry.

I promise you once I finished my final exam, I will be more active with edseeds family than any time before.

Hello dear.
First of all, I want to thank you for supporting me during my second year in university. And I want to apologize for this long absence, it is out of my hand. It was a long and hard year ever, and also it was full of challenges.
Unfortunately, in the faculty of science, we only finished one semester, and now we are making our final exams for the second semester.
Today, I want to share with you some of the thoughts that pop into my head every day.
First, I was psychologically distressed from being in the Faculty of Sciences.
And after searching for more than two months, I found that Biochemistry was no longer suitable for me, because, we, as Syrian refugee in Lebanon, cannot work in these disciplines, such as chemistry, biology, medicine…etc.
During the past two months, I joined several workshops about artificial intelligence and data science, like robotics, Digital core skills, Full stack development…, I became more interested in this field and especially when I attended Mariam Alboushi and Badiaa Alfathi's pitch at AUB.
Together with my work with Aixplain, I became more aware of the importance of AI and data science.
I applied for the entrance exam to Data Science, which has just opened at Lebanese University, last week. The result will be announced next week and so far, the first top 30 applicants will be admitted.
If for any reason I do not pass the entrance exam at the LU, I will be looking for another university.
Despite all the challenges that I faced this year, I was an active person in the society.
I volunteered with a charitable organization and contributed to securing winter clothes for 5000 orphaned Syrian children. Also, I joined several programs that help me to become a good leader.
And recently, I created WhatsApp group to help student to register at the Lebanese University. And so far I have helped 300 students.

I am considering a major change in view of career prospects and local demand given my refugee status
I will either do this or that
