Life is full of all sorts of “firsts” – things you do for the very first time. They might seem normal, but they’re all special in their own way, and I wanted to share a bunch of mine with you!
Fundraising Journey: My heart soared when my fundraising campaign at edSeed was accepted. It wasn’t just about the money; it was the validation of my idea and the knowledge that others believed in it too.
Gaining a Prize: The first $10 I raised wasn’t a windfall, but a testament to my efforts. It fueled my determination to keep going, one contribution at a time.
Moving Time: The first time I packed my bags to move to University dorms was crazy! I was excited about the new place, but also a little nervous. Still, it taught me how to take care of myself, which is pretty cool.
Lebanese University: Hello New School! Starting at Lebanese University was a big deal! The first picture I took there shows how excited I was to learn new stuff. The labs were awesome too – like a scientist’s playground! And of course, I had to get a picture to remember it.
Lab Adventure: The first time I walked into the lab was amazing! So many cool chemicals and reactions everywhere. I had to take a picture to remember it all.
Kitchen Adventures: Cooking Kabseh for the first time was a fun challenge! Learning about the spices and putting it all together was awesome, and the food tasted amazing! Speaking of food, the first time I bought groceries just for cooking was a big step. It showed I was ready to explore new dishes and be my own boss in the kitchen!
Exam Day: The first university exam was a nerve-wracking experience, but also a sign of progress. It meant I was actively learning, pushing myself, and growing academically.
Taking that first step, no matter how daunting it seems, is always worth it. Looking back at all these “firsts” makes me realize how far I’ve come. It’s a reminder that even the scariest experiences eventually become just a memory in a photo. So keep going and this time shall too pass.
